Music is Really Popular These Days, Eh?

Go Here Now for Some Hot! PANDORA.com

Pandora is the result of something called the music genome project. Maybe I should have researched what this genome project was and given you, my avid reader, more info about it. But isn't it funner (or is it more fun) to just guess? Yes, it is.

I'm pretty sure the Music Genome Project was a major undertaking. It probably took a really long time to map all the songs that ever existed (and are born every day) and analyze their bass and their tremble and stuff... and then finally create a program such as Pandora that links all of these songs by their unique attributes. Maybe, who knows.

The end result is a boner. You type any song or artist that you like into Pandora and this Pandora woman makes an interactive radio station based on the attributes of your input. You can give the recommendations a thumbs up or down. You can also skip songs you don't like (this is limited to a relatively low number of skips per hour for some reason so don't go crazy). You can get information on any artist you hear and you can link iTunes if you want to buy. I recommend downloading illegally.

Pandora is FREE! but after a while it asks you to sign up for a (still free) account which is open to US residents only so go right ahead and google a US zip code, idiot. You didn't hear it from me. Or did you?
